al Fahum - Das Kulturmagazin der Vereinigten Arabischen Emirate

This project was developed under the direction of Professor Rüdiger Quass von Deyen in cooperation with the tourism offices of the United Arab Emirates.

Al Fahum means "understanding" in Arabic. That's what this issue is about. We want to convey to a younger target group what makes the culture of the Arab Emirates so unique with cultural topics like music, art, technology, history, fashion and everyday life. In addition, we want to help to understand how a region that could hardly change faster works to reduce fears and bring cultural understanding.
